  1. From Mr.Neck's point of view (Melinda's social studies teacher).
I seem to notice that very troublesome new girl Melinda. She looks like trouble to me, I better watch out for her because she has been acting weird since the beginning of school. She is definitely not on my good side.

  2. IVY: "Today in Art class Melinda was staring at me like she had a crush on me or something.I didn't look at her because I didn't want her to think I liked her back. She is such a FREAK! I mean we used to be friends but get over me, come on. You can so tell our friendship is over. We are definitely not friends anymore why can't she just get it, I've grown up."

  3. Nicole: Today before school started Melinda had looked at me. I had almost wanted to say hi but turned to my Nikes as if they needed tying. We have never been remotely close so I didn’t want to say anything. Before I start my gym class Melinda always looks at me like I am weird or something. This only happens when I change for gym. I mean yes ok I take off all my clothes in front of everyone but who cares we are all girls in here. It is not like there are guys changing in there too. Maybe she thinks I am a FREAK or something…well I am not. I am perfectly normal and she just needs to put that through her head and stop starring at me. Is she jealous of me or something? I bet she is. Whatever who cares it’s not like we are friends and I am going to see her for the rest of my life or hang out with her all the time. Right?

  4. MR. FREEMAN: First day, another batch of creative duds. These adolescents are plagued by material obsession. Almost sickening. But that one, Melinda, she's different. Something about her is different from the MTV and skinny jeans norm. Her word is "tree" I hope she will grow like one.

I noticed this girl named Melinda. She does not seem to want to try and be on my good side. She seems like trouble and I need to watch out for her. I asked her a question and she has the audacity to not answer. That girl is trouble. I have to make a note of that.

  6. Rachel (Melinda's Ex-Best Friend): Ugh! I am so mad at Melinda. I tried today to distance myself from her as much as possible so that I don't look like a freak too. I will not let her ruin my reputation in high school just because she was really stupid. At the same time, I really want to know what was going on in her head when she did what she did. But still, its like shes trying to mess up my chances of being popular just because of her descison...

That girl, that girl melinda. I can see she is not part of any group no social friends. Maybe that is she is new. She seems to be not used to school so out of everything. Melinda never heard of that name. I can feel she will be nothing but trouble, and will always be late with her work

    Rachel:
Oh my gosh, why is she staring at me. God, I mean sure we may have been friends but "I hate you" She is so just another loser. I got my new friends I am so not going back to her.

What an odd girl. Melinda, I can tell, will be hard to keep in line. I better teach that girl some dicipline before she can get even more troublesome. I can already see her misbehaving and not following orders, ha I wonder if she knows what will come at her if she keeps this up.

That Melinda girl is nothing but trouble. Thinks she can just walk the halls whenever she pleases...hmph. I see that she's not accepted by very many students. But still,I can just see trouble in her...nothing but trouble. It's going to be a very tough four years with her.

  11. Heather (from Ohio)- I'm new at Merryweather High, so I don't have any friends. This girl Melinda sat next to me on the first day of school, and shes like my only friend. I think I'm her only friend too, because she always acts all sad and like she has no friends. Well, anyway, I call her most nights to talk about our English homework. We sometimes talk for hours and hours. Melinda is a really good listener, I will talk forever and she just says "uh-huh". Some people would think that she just doesn't want to talk to me, but were friends, so I think shes just a really good listener. Well, I'm glad she is my friend, because then I wouldn't really have anyone to talk to.

  12. I am Rachel, Melinda's ex-est friend.

What is wrong with melinda? Why is she looking at me? We are not friends any more! She is crazy she never talks. How can she live with out talking? She will never make it throught high school. She will always be an outcast. How can I not laugh at her?!
    I HATE HER!!!!!

OMG what is Melina's problem? why does she have to be like a creaper around school? Seriously get a life. Sure we used to be "best friends" but.. i am waayyy over her! She was crazy, and now she thinks she can like look and me and stare at me all the time.. UH NO! HAHA when i think about this i laugh, this is like unbelievable... this is like really annoying. Thinking she can make eye contact with me and everything can be okay? I hate he so much. What ever i have other friends, i dont care about her anymore, she can go be alone all day for all i care. UGGHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

  14. Mr.Neck: I think that melinda is a big trouble maker because first she deserves herself a demerit for not walking in the hallway without a pass then she becomes a true trouble maker when she gets mashed patatoes all over her in lunch.

  16. Ugh! Soo today was the first day at school so durning luch time I waves to a bunch of my friends and some how this, this girl who no one likes at all gets in the way and someone throw a lump of potatoes and grave hits her in the chest staing her shirt. I tried to say sorry but eveyone started to laugh. I felt so bad for her. She is something else. I quite can't put my hand in it but there is something about her. I mean the way she reacted, well let's just say if that food hit another girl they would of smacked me then started to yell. She just walked away. Without saying one word

Today I saw this girl standing up before the orientation started. She was very quiet and seemed like a trouble maker. And then while walking the halls. I saw her wandering As if she were new and was lost. I have a great feeling she will be nothing but trouble.

I am so sick of these irritating kids. The new ones are all the same. None of them listen, especially this new girl that wont sit down. What is she doing? Does she not see that most kids are sitting already. I don't trust her. This is going to be a long year as the social studies teacher.

These kids are driving me (swears) crazy! Half of them sleep in class. (Begins grading papers) WHERE IS THAT MELINDA GIRLS PAPER! She never does her homework. She always mopes around in class! I think she is in dire need of a map because, she looks LOST! Let me look for her right now!

I'm so glad I'm not friends with that Melinda freak anymore. She looks so depressed though. She looks so weird now...like twisted weird. She creeps the living daylight out of me. I just hope she stays far away from me.
