    David Petrakis: Oh. Melinda is so odd sometimes, but it is a good odd; if there is such a thing. I should look into that. I started to kind of flirt with her today. I guess I sort of started to lectured her today and she asks me if I lecture all my friends and I was answered, just the ones I like. Then I told her maybe I’ll call her and she is like maybe I won’t answer, or maybe I will. I like so much. Maybe I will ask her out…………………

    Dad:"Like every Saturday I was at home relaxing, because it is my only day off and I am a hard working dad and need some relaxation time. Also my wife was out working because Saturdays our big shopping days and whatever. Anyways as I was inside taking a nap I woke up and was hungry so I was going to get some food from the store but when I went outside I saw Melinda in the frontyard. Now our front yard isn't the nicest because I have been working a lot as I said and I haven't had any time to do it and my wife doesn't do anything like a mother should so it's not that nice. It's very messy. Melinda was out there cleaning it??? I was so surprised, she doesn't seem like the I want to clean so I can help my parents, type but then again I don't really talk to her that much. Come on, all dads don't really talk to their teenage daughters......right??????"

    Melinda is much different than other people. I kind of like her. we were talking at her locker and we started flirting with each other. I hope she answers when I call her. It would be nice to talk more.

    David- So I started talking to her and I guess I consider her as one of my friends. I really like what she did to show the class about herself and how she might not want to talk and no one should judge her. But I do agree with Mr. Neck and how he gave her a D I mean ok I know Mel worked really hard on it but she should have done more research I mean the right research. I was only tough on her because that is how I am with all the people I consider friends. So I wanted to call her later on and talk to her you know she's great to talk to. I don't know what I will say and how our conversation will go but hopefully good. I mean they are always stimulating talks when we have them in class or on notes. I learn more about her and I think she feels close to me then she does to anyone else and that feels kind of nice in a way. I really like talking to her it's great I can't wait to call her later on today.....I hope she picks up and I hope it wont be awkward.

    I fell really bad that i got Melinda into truble. I just wanted to help. I didn't think she would get sent to MISS. I'm shocked her parents didn't do anything about that. Well.... I hope Melinda will answer when I call her.

    Melinda has been acting differently lately. But like a good different. We spoke a full conversation! She was raking leaves in front of the house! I haven't seen her do lawn work in ages! Let alone voluntarily. I hope she keeps this up. I could use some more work around the house haha.

    I like Melinda. She really had the guts to stick up to Mr. Neck. I hope she answers my calls. She doesn't really talk that much though.... Well she is different than most others. But that can be a good thing. We shall see.

    Melinda's Mom-
    The other day, Melinda said she wasn't feeling good. I started to say something, but then I realized she talked. She actually talked. I said something, but it sounded really weird. Her and me both knew it was weird. I started over, and it was the first real mother/daughter moment we have had in a while. It was really nice and I was really impressed. I just can't believe she actually talked.

    Me and Melinda definatly grew closer. She is actually interesting when she does talk. I really like her! I just hope i didnt mess things up with our relationship when i said i would call her. I have to make sure i call her TONIGHT!
